Arunachal Pradesh is sure to leave tourists spellbound with its majestic beauty spread lavishly on the green hills. Arunachal provides a host of sites of tourist interest. A haven to impenetrable forests, deep gorges and wide rivers, Arunachal is the largest state in North Eastern India. There are 8 Wildlife Sanctuaries and 2 National Parks in the state. The wildlife of the region is rich and varied. Elephants, tigers and leopards, varieties of civets, the sloth bear and the Himalayan black bear, the red panda and many types of deer including the musk deer live in Arunachal's forests.

Also known as `Land of the Dawn-lit-Mountains' this is the first Indian soil to greet the morning sun. In addition to the forests, the rich handicrafts add to the ethereal beauty of majestic Arunachal Pradesh. Weaving is a very common craft in the region. Highly artistic carpets, shawls, gales and jackets are the high-quality fruit of its looms. This land, blessed with the most breathtaking scenery, magnificent ancient ruins and charming tribal folk is any traveller's paradise.

DAY 1 ARRIVE DELHI
Welcome to Delhi - a city where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and proceed to your hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 2 DELHI - DIBRUGARH
Morning after a breakfast transfer to airport to board flight to Dibrugarh. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel Little Palace for overnight stay.

DAY 3 DIBRUGARH FERRY - PASIGHAT
Morning after an early breakfast drive down to the nearest bank of River Brahmaputra to take ferry to reach Pasighat.Upon arrival to Pasighat proceed to village of Adi Minyong Tribe who welcome you in traditional way and performe the village dance.

** As discussed with Yamana San last year,we have an optione to see the dance at Adi Minyong Village before reaching to hotel**

In the evening transfer to the hotel Omasila for overnight stay.

PASIGHAT: Pasighat is the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh established in 1911 and the present headquarter of the East Siang district. On the eastern side of Assam, Pasighat is the gateway of Arunachal Pradesh for those who wish to travel to the Siang District or even to unexplored Gelling which is the confluence point of River Sangpo and Siang).

DAY 4 PASIGHAT - ALONG 110 KMS
Morning after breakfast drive down to Along.Before reaching Along we will visit the Pangin Village of Adi Minyong Tribe (Appx. 50 Kms. from Pasighat). Before independence of India Arunachal had only 01 Adi Tribe but during the time of separation these people created their own communities and the Adis were divided into many sub tribes. Minyong is one of the major sub tribes of Adi and Pangin is one of the largest villages of Adi Minyong People. These are Animists in religion and they worship the Sun and the Moon (The Donyi Polos). Cultivation of rice, plantation of Orange and Pineapple, Piggery etc. are some of the sources of income for these people. Later on drive to see the Sangom point where the Green Waters of Siang met the Blue Waters of river Siom. Arrive Along and check in to the hotel Holiday Cottage.

Post lunch proceed to visit Kabu Village of Adi Gallong Tribe (Like the Adi Minyongs, The Adi Gallongs are also Animists in religion and pray the Sun and the Moon. However, they are much more developed than any other sub tribe of Adi because of political influence).

A further walk of 10 minutes through this village would take you to a 70 meters long Hanging Bridge (Made of bamboos and Canes) which is a fine example of self dependence of the people residing in this village. In the later part of afternoon reture to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5 ALONG DRIVE - DAPORIJO - ZIRO
Morning after breakfast drive down to reach Jiro via Daporijo (The day takes you to Jiro (usually spelled and pronounced as Ziro by outsiders) in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, India); the plateau of Apatani Tribe. Arrive Ziro in the evening and check-in at hotel Blue Pine for dinner and overnight stay.

Apart from the Apatani Tribe, Ziro is very rich in terms of natural beauty. The altitue (Very close to 5000 Feet) and the natural surrounding (Including the Pine Trees) makes it entirely different from the other places one could cover in this itinerary.

DAY 6 ZIRO
Morning after breakfast take a tour of Ziro.Visit some big villages of Apatani People like Hari ,Hong & Tarataku.We will take you to visit a Apatani house and have tipical Apatani lunch.Post lunch proceed to visit musium and local market. In the evening reture back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7 ZIRO - ITANAGAR 180 KMS
Morning after breakfast drive down to Itanagar Arrive Itanagar and check-in at hotel.Post lunch visit to Ita Fort. It is a historical fort of an irregular shape, built mainly with bricks. The total total brickwork done on the fort comprise of 16,200 cubic mtr. length. There are also three gates on three sides viz; Eastern, Western and Southern, which is said to be built by Ahom rulers. Later visit to Itanagar Monestry and Nehru Museum. The museum displays extensive ethnographic collection of local tribes including wood carvings, musical instruments, textiles, handicrafts and archeological finds.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel Sabunshri.

DAY 8 ITANAGAR - DIRANG
Morning after breakfast straight drive to Dirang while crossing Bhalukpong “The Check Post and border of Assam & Arunachal” .In the late afternoon check in at Hotel Pemaling for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 9 DIRANG - TAWANG 160 KMS
Morning after breakfast take a tour of Dirang. Visit the typical Lish village of Khispi Monpa Tribe, Khastung Gompa & Diranagzo.Later on drive down to Tawang. Enroute photostop while crossing the 13,714 ft high Sela Pass. Moreover, it was said to be the battlefield where Indian and Chinese armies fought against each other. Arrive Tawang and check-in at Hotel Gorichen for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 10 TAWANG
Full day to explore Tawang. First visit to Taktsang Gompa and later on proceed to visit Nunnery “The Gyanganga Ani Gonpa “is about 5km from the town and has more than 100 nuns living here.

Post lunch visit the world famous Tawang Monastery (The Tawang Monastery also known as "Galden Namgyal Lhatse" was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyamtso in the year 1860-61 AD. The Tawang Monastery stands on the start of a hill, about 10,000 ft above sea level and has ravines in the south and west, narrow ridge on the north and a gradual slope on the east. It offers an imposing and picturesque view of the -Chu valley. The monastery appears like a fort from a distance, as if guarding the admirers in the wide valley below. Tawang monastery in Arunachal Pradesh is the largest of its kind in the country and 2nd largest in Asia. The Tawang Monastery has the capacity for housing about 700 monks, but, the actual number of resident Lamas (Monks) at present is a little more than 300. This monastery of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh is the source of the spiritual life of the people of this region).

Later drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 11 TAWANG
Full day excursion to Zimithang.Visit to Kalekteng village and Gorsam Chorthen.In the afternoon drive back to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 12 TAWANG - BOMDILA
Morning after breakfast drive down to Bomdila (Breathtakingly beautiful Bomdila, 3,500 metres high in the Himalayas, is the headquarters of the west Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. This lofty paradise is snow clad for a major part of the year and makes a delightful destination to get away to in summer).

Upon arrival, check-in at Shipiyang Pong, Bomdila for dinner and overnight stay. **If the time permits we will visit Nuranaag Water Fall at Jung and a waving house at Dirang**

DAY 13 BOMDILA - TEJPUR
Morning after breakfast proceed to visit the Bomdila Monastery (Lower Gompa), The Craft Centre and Vagitable Market. Later drive down to Tejpur.Upon arrival check in to Hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 14 TEJPUR - GUWAHATI - DELHI
Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Guwahati Domestic Airport.Post lunch Board flight to Delhi. Received upon arrival and transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 15 DELHI DEPART
Morning after leisurely breakfast proceed for sightseeing (Optional).Post lunch check-out from the hotel evening transfer to the International Airport to board flight for onward destination.
