The Milam Glacier trek is among the best trek Kumaun himalaya range through remote areas with breathtaking panorama. The Milam Glacier, situated on the south-facing slope of the Himalayan range, It originates from the slopes of Kohli and Trishul peaks. It is the source of the Milam River and a tributary of the Pindar River. On the way of Milam Glacier trek the route is also divert for Nandadevi base. Places on the way of this tour are Nanda Devi East Base, Gauri Ganga, Lilam, Railkot, Mapa, Martoli, Munsyari. Milam Glacier Trek gives an opportunity to explore and experience the beauty of Indian Himalaya. Trekking journey begins from Munsyari to Milam. The trek involves moderate walks using good treks to cross through rugged terrains, quaint villages and picturesque streams. PanchaChuli range captivates the scenic trek on ascending to the Lilam ridge. . At an elevation of 3434 meters, Base Camp boasts beautiful sight of East face of Nanda Devi. Much of the higher section is through Brijigang Pass to Ralam Valley.
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life ; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. Shikhar Travel’s representative and your guide will receive you at the airport in a traditional manner and escort you to your hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Kathgodam (1940 mt)- Almora (1640 mt)
Morning after a relaxed breakfast check out from the hotels (in noon time)and we will take you for a sightseeing of New Delhi.
Your sightseeing will with visits to Rashtrapati Bhawan (is the official residence of the President of India. Formerly the residence of the Viceroy of India, it has a magnificient view of the Rajpath and symmetrical North and South block Govt offices), India Gate (is a majestic high arch,42 metres high, built as a memorial to the Indian Soldiers killed in world war 1).
Post sightseeing proceed for the dinner at the local restaurent. After having dinner proceed for the railway station to board train to Kathgodam.
Upon arrival proceed for the Almora. Almora is famous for its rich cultural heritage, unique handicrafts, sumptuous cuisine and magnificent wildlife.

Day 03: Almora (1640 mt) - Munsyari (2290 mt)
Morning after breakfast proceed for Munsyari. Munsyari was a restricted area in Himalayan inner line wedged in between borders of India , China & Nepal, restrctions have eased now. One can see Panchuli Peaks look like as five chimneys, River Goriganga flows by Munsiyari and drains at 18 kms long Milam Glacier and merges with Balati Glaciers and Panchuli snowfields, Valley of Gori has several trekking routes and known as trekkers paradise, Some treks are very famous like trekk to Milam, Namik Trekk,Ralan Glacier trekk etc.

Day 04: Munsyari - Lilam (1850 mt)
After breakfast we start trekking. Our first steps take us away from the bustling bazaar and out onto the open trail and a steady descent down to our camp site for the night at Lilam. 5 - 6 hrs walking. We reached Lilem village in the late afternoon.

Day 05: Lilam - Bodgudiyar(2500 mt)
Morning after breakfast start trek towards the Bodgudiyar. Following a rather swinging route (up and down) .The route to Bodgudiar just followed the Goriganga river, this was washed away in moonsoon of 1996. On this route you do get to see some nameless snow capped peaks mainly leading towards the Ralam village and the river which joins the Goriganga on the way.

Day 06: Bodgudiyar- Railkot (3200 mt)
After breakfast proceed for the Railkot.Enroute just after Bodgudiyar we cross a stream coming from the Namic glacier from where there is an interesting trek to Song which is at the base of the Pindari glacier trek, which supposedly goes only up to an altitute of 4700mtrs. But the difficult parts of the glacier is on the other side where it drains into the river Ramganga (This is the beautiful river is seen on the way from Thal to Munsiyari). Our route steadly climbs along the river which is very noisy at this stage. After about one hour we reach the upper Bodgudiyar meadow crossing the Goriganga to reach the true left side of the river and further trek to the Railkot.

Day 07: Railkot - Milam village(3400 mt)
Morning after relaxed breakfast proceed for the Milam village. After half an hour of walking we got the first views of the peak Trishuli (7065 mtrs). Then we came to the village called Befni which is again is an almost empty village. After a few minutes one gets a fantastic view of Nandadevi and Nandadevi east towards the west just above the villages Pacchu and Ghangar on the other side of the Goriganga river. On the east there is a long snow ridge which is parallel to our trail.

Day 08: Milam village - Milam glacier - Milam village
After breakfast trek towards the Milam Glacier. On arrival explore the glacier; one can view the magnificent peaks of Rishi Parvat (6692 M), Hardeol (7151 M) and Trishuli I (7074 M). Later trek back to Milam for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09: Milam village- Railkot
After breakfast trek down to reach Railkot On arrival set out camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Upon arrival set up the camps for overnight stay.
Day 10: Railkot - Railgadi
Mornin after breakfast Trek back to Railgadi. And overnight stay in camp.
Day 11: Railgadi – Lilam – Munsyari
After breakfast start trek to Munsyar via Lilami. Overnight stay in Guest house or Tents.
Day 12: Munsyari – Almora
Morning after breakfast drive back to Almora Upon arrival check in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Munsyari – Almora
Morning after breakfast drive back to Delhi Upon arrival check in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: Depart Delhi
Check-out from the hotel at noon. Day at leisure for shopping and exploring the city on your own. Check-out from the hotel at noon. Later in the evening departure transfer to International airport to board Flight for onward destination.
