The Nun Kun mountain massif comprises a pair of Himalayan peaks: Nun, 7,135 m (23,409 ft) and its neighbor peak Kun, 7,077 m (23,218ft).Nun is the highest peak in the part of the Himalayan range lying on the Indian side of the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. (There are higher peaks in the Indian part of theKarakoram range.) The massif is located near the Suru valley, about 250 km (160 mi) east of Srinagar, the state capital. Nun is located south of Kun and is separated from it by a snowy plateau of about 4 km (2.5 mi) in length. Pinnacle Peak, 6,930 m (22,736 ft), is the third highest summit of the group.
Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Day 2: Delhi
Proceed to IMF for clearance and briefing with Liaison Officer.

Day 3: Delhi - Leh (3,524 M)
Morning after an early breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport to board flight to Leh. Arrive Leh and check-in at Lingzi hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

HEMIS (43 KMS. SOUTH OF LEH)
Built on a green hillside surrounded by spectacular mountains, Hemis is the biggest and the most important monastery in Ladakh. It was built in the 17th century by Chapgon Gyalshas and ever since has enjoyed the patronage of the royal family. Hemis is the headquarter of the Drukpa order and all the monasteries throughout Ladakh are administered by it. This wealthiest monastery contains gold statues and stupas decorated with precious stones and many priceless old Thankas.
THIKSEY (25 KMS SOUTH OF LEH)
Thiksey,one of the most imposing monasteries belonging to the 15th century, stands on a crag overlooking the flood plain on the east bank of the Indus. The monastery belongs to Elugpa order (Yellow sect) and is a 12- Storey Monastery painted deep red, ochre and white with typical tapering walls. There is a 15m high Buddha figure at the entrance of the new temple. The layout of the monastery complex resembles the Potala palace in Lhasa.
SHEY (15 KMS SOUTH OF LEH)
On the East bank of the Indus river lies the beautiful Shey Monastery. Up to the 16th century it was the royal palace. There is a 17.5 m high blue haired Maitreya Buddha of copper, brass gilded and studded with precious gemstones.
Return to your hotel by the later part of the afternoon. Evening you can walk down to the nearest market on your own or spend some time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Leh (3,524 M) - Kargil (2,676 M)
After breakfast, 230kms drive to Kargil, Lunch Enroute. Witness once again to the Barren Mountain and wilderness, Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6: Kargil (2,676 M) - Tangol (3,700 M)
Early Morning after breakfast drive to Tangol. Approximately 05 hrs drive. Overnight at camp near road head.

Day 7: Tangol (3,700 M) - Base Camp (4,600 M)
Morning after breakfast from Tangol we climb to moraine and continue to base camp. This involves 5-7 hrs trek. On arrival, establish your base camp and overnight stay at tent.

Day 8 - 19: Base Camp (4,600 M) - Summit - Base Camp
Attempt to Submit Mt. Nun (7135 M) and back to Base camp.

Day 20: Base Camp (4,600 M) - Tangol
Trek down to Tangol.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
Day 21: Tangol - Kargil (2,676 M)
Drive back to Kargil.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
Day 22: Kargil (2,676 M) - Leh
Drive to Leh.

Fly to Delhi (De-briefing) in IMF overning at Hotel
