Pre Everest Expedition to Mount Nun 7135 M

Day 01:  Welcome to Delhi

After arrival at IGI airport in Delhi you will meet our representative. You will assist and transfer to hotel for check-in by our representative.

Day 02: Delhi

Morning after breakfast we will take to Indian Mountaineering foundation to attend the briefing about your coming Expedition. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Delhi- Leh (3500 M)

Today morning you are going to Leh. we will transfer you to Delhi airport to board a flight to Leh. Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will meet our escort and transfer to hotel for check-in. Rest of the day free for acclimatization in Leh.

Day 04: Leh-Sightseeing

Morning will be free we will give you more time to get acclimatize well. Later in the day we will visit few places in Leh town i.e. Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Evening visit to Leh market for shopping.

Day 05:  Leh - Stok – Manikarmo

Check out from the hotel and drive to village Stok. From here we will start the trek to Manikarmo (4600 M)  crossing few passes and a small stream. We will end our day in Manikarmo and spent the night in Tent.

Day 06: Manikarmo - Base Camp

After having breakfast pack your bag and trek to Base Camp (5020 M). On arrival set the camp for overnight stay.

Day 07: Hike to Stok Glacier

Today we will have an easy day as we will go for acclimatization hike to stok glacier only. Come back to base camp for overnight stay.

Day 08: Summit Day

Around midnight we will start climbing for Stok Kangri summit. Spend some time at Stok Kangri Summit and experience a stunning view of Himalayan range. back to base camp for overnight stay.

Day 09: Base Camp – Leh

Morning after early breakfast we will start return Trek to Stok village from stok village we will drive to Leh. Upon arrival at Leh and check in hotel.

Day 10: Leh - Kargil (2676 M)

Breakfast at hotel and check out from hotel drive too Kargil 220 Kms which will take around 5 Hrs.

Day 11: Kargil - Tangol (3700 M)

This will be our last breakfast in the hotel before expedition after finishing breakfast drive to Tangol. Arrive at Tangol village and set up the camp for overnight stay.

Day 12: Tangol - Base Camp (4500 M)

Today you will reach the base camp of Mt. Nun. It is around 6 hrs trek from Tangol village. Upon arrival set up base camp.

Day 13-24: Base Camp – Summit – Base Camp

Next 12 days for set higher camp i.e. Camp - 1, Camp - 2 and Summit camp. And the ultimate Summit of Mt. Nun (7135 M)

Day 15 & 16: Acclimatisation days

Two days for acclimatisation in high altitude.

Day 18 & 19: Acclimatisation day

Get well acclimatize in camp 2

Day 20:  Camp 2 to Summit Camp (6436 M)

Set up Summit camp

Day 21: Summit Camp – Summit (7135 M) – Camp 2

Climb Mt. Nun 7135 meters. 

Day 22 & 23: Reserve day for Summit

We will keep two days reserve for summit in case of bad weather condition 

Day 24: Camp 2 – Base Camp

Come back to Base Camp

Day 25: Base Camp (4,500 M) – Tangol - Kargil

Say bye bye to base camp and trek back to Tangol village and transfer to Kargi. Upon arrival in Kargil check in the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 26: Kargil - Leh

Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast board in the car and drive to Leh. Arrive Leh and check in the hotel.

Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 27: Leh – Delhi

Morning transfer to Leh airport to and fly to Delhi. Visit IMF for De-briefing and complete the formalities. Overnight stay in a hotel in Delhi.

Day 28: Delhi Depart

As per your flight time, we will transfer to IGI airport Delhi to fly back home with sweet memories.

Price Includes:

• A booking fee of Mount Nun and Mount Stok Kangri
• Liaison officer fees and with his/her Delhi to Delhi expense 
• Accommodation in hotels and tent on twin sharing
• All meals from day two breakfast to the day last breakfast with High altitude food in high camps
• All transportation as per the above programme
• Services of a guide and High-altitude porter for load ferry 
• Services of Shikhar Escort, Cook, Helper during the expedition till base camp
• All Necessary base camp equipment and High-altitude equipment 
• Necessary Climbing equipment i.e., Fix rope, Climbing rope, High altitude tent, Carabiner, Snow bar, Ice piton etc.
• Services of Porters for transportation of Members luggage maximum 40 Kgs per person up to Base Camp and back.
• All currently applicable taxes
• First aid kit and Oxygen Cylinder

Price doesn't Include

• Personal clothing and gears required for climbing 
• Any personal High-Altitude porter 
• Personal expenses such as table drinks, room’s services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tip etc. 
• Any additional expenses caused by or liability for a disturbance in the trip program due to or circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc.
• Personal Belongings such as Sleeping Bags, walking sticks etc.
• Please ensure your insurance must cover you for the heights you are likely to attain and for helicopter rescue as well. When you have chosen and booked your insurance, please provide SHIKHAR TRAVELS with your Insurers name, their 24-hour emergency telephone number and your Policy number with them.
• Remember, your insurance is not worth the paper it's written on if we don't know the details and you need their assistance.

General Conditions:

• All flight timings are based on the current schedule and are strictly subject to Change
• All prices are subject to any revision of tax and tariff structure
• Rates valid till 30 Sep. 2022. 
• The prices are on Per Person basis, Net &Non-Commissionable.
• Upon confirmation of the booking, we would require 50% of the total invoice and the balance amount can be paid 60 days prior to the date of arrival.
• The above cost will not applicable if there will be major change in INR to USD exchange rate.
