Sandakphu Trek Sikkim

Day 1: Arrive - Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Met on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi - Bagdogra - Darjeeling
Morning flight to Bagdogra. Met on arrival and transfer to Darjeeling (90 km). Darjeeling is known as "Queen of Hills' and famous tea state of India. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Darjeeling
Very early morning proceed for excursion to Tiger Hill to witness the Sun rise over Mt. Kanchendzonga Range of mountains. Return to Darjeeling visiting Ghoom Monastery enroute. Enjoy Toy Train ride (now a World Heritage entity). Afternoon sightseeing of Darjeeling. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 4: Darjeeling - Dotrey - Gairibans
Drive to Dotrey (2200 mt). The village is inhibited by Sherpas Nepalese. From Dotrey start trekking to Gradual uphill toTonglu (3,020 m) in Nepal through clean forest trail which continues on over the Ridge to Jaubari in Nepal (2,750 m).Thereafter it is a gradual descent to Gairibas(2620 m) in Nepal.Overnight in Camp/ Terkkers.

Day 5: Gairibans - Sandhakphu
After breakfast trek to SandhakphuThe trail climbs gradually from Gairibas via Kal Pokhari (2,950 m) . From Kal Pokhari, the trail gradual up for an hour to Bhikay Bhanjang (3,350 m). A couple of hours more and a rather steep climb, takes one up to the Ridge with occasional uninterrupted views of mighty peaks .Overnight stay in tent/Trekker's hut.

Day 6: Sandakphu - Molle
Trek to Molle (3250 mt).This 14 km trek provides the most spectacular views of some of the highest peaks of the world and valley of nepal.

Day 7: Molle - Phalut
Trek to Phalut (3600 mt).Phalut provides the most attractive views of some of the highest peaks and beautifull sun rise over Khanchendzonga range of mountains.Overnight stay in trekker's hut or in tents.

Day 8: Phalut - Gorkhey
Trek to Gorkhey. This 16 km down hill route passes through dense forests of Oak,Pine,Rododrendon trees and Bamboo bushes.Gorkhey is small village in bank of river Gorkhey. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 9: Gorkhey - Ramam - Sri Khola
Trek to Sri khola .The route passes through small villages and dense forest of Oak,Pine etc. Overnight stay in tented camp or in Lodge.

Day 10: Sri Khola - Rimbik - Darjeeling
Early morning trek gradual to Rimbik 6 km from Sri khola through small villages.Rimbik is small market but very important for surrounding villages.After having lunch in Rimbik good bye to Trek, and drive back to Darjeeling 4-5 hrs. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 11: Darjeeling - Bagdogra - Delhi
Transfer to Bagdogra airport. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Depart Delhi
Transfer to international airport to board flight for onward destination.
